Every airport bar one that is in the London area is actually situated on the outskirts of the city and, as such, are relatively inaccessible if you decide not to use a car. The one exception is London City airport which, as its name suggests, is actually within the heart of the city. This means that it is the easiest airport to get to in terms of catching the trains and the buses in the city.
