When I decided at the beginning of this year that I was going to take a trip to London, I had very high hopes for my trip. The reason that I had such high hopes for my trip to London is because I had several friends who had been to London before, and because they all had a countless number of stories about how great London was, I knew that the bar was going to be set very high in my mind. In fact, it was actually my friends who were the main reason that I decided to go to London. I was trying to figure out where I wanted to go for Spring Break at the beginning of the year, and when I remembered how much everyone had loved London, I decided it would be a great place for me to go. I knew I wasn’t going to be drunk on the beach if I was in London during Spring Break, but that was fine with me because I wasn’t looking for that kind of experience in the first place.

Well, now that I have returned from my Spring Break trip to London, I can confidentially say that not only did I truly enjoy my time in London, but it actually exceeded the expectations I had in my mind (which, as I mentioned earlier, were already quite high). When I look back on my trip to London, I can’t think of a single time when I was unhappy. To give you an idea of how much I liked London, I have already decided that is where I want to go again during my next Spring Break!
